Your candle-lit Valentine's Night dinner is served!

On Monday 14th February 2022 at 7pm here at The Skipper.

Our Chefs have been busy crafting the perfect Valentine's night dinner menu for your enjoyment. 

Valentines 22 - 3-course meal

Our tables will be dressed with table cloths, candles and rose petals, and your meal will be accompanied with fantastic live music from our very own Sandy playing his classical guitar. What a fantastic way to spend this special evening!

For £49.95 per person you’ll be able to join us and enjoy a delicious 3 course meal.


Delicious 3 course dinner menu:

Starters:

  • Game and smoked Duck terrine, pickled walnuts, roasted plum and port compote served with brioche toast.
  • Crab ravioli, bisque sauce, tomato concasse with a split basil oil.
  • Baked camembert with confit garlic, sourdough flatbread and olive tapenade.

Mains:

  • Butter roasted Chicken supreme, with confit leg pithivier, raisen puree, braised leeks, Chicken skin crumble with a sherry jus.
  • Pistachio crusted Monkfish, with parmesan and herb polenta with roasted vine tomato and lyonnaise green beans.
  • Roasted cauliflower steak, with roasted vegetable couscous, mint salsa and cumin yoghurt.
  • 16oz Chateaubriand (to share) beef dripping potato terrine, with thyme roasted shallots, wild mushrooms and bearnaise sauce (subject to a £10 supplement and this needs to be pre-ordered please, so please confirm with your booking).

Dessert:

  • Rose and Strawberry panna cotta, with roasted white chocolate and sesame tuille.
  • Basque cheesecake with salted caramel sauce.
  • Dark chocolate and tonka bean muillefuille
