Your special Mother’s Day dinner is served!

Our Chefs have been busy crafting the perfect Mother’s Day dinner menu for your enjoyment, along with fantastic live music from our very own Sandy playing his classical guitar. What a fantastic way to spend this special day!

On Sunday 27th March 2022 here at The Skipper.

For £29.95 per person for 2 courses & £34.95 for 3 courses, including a FREE glass of Prosecco for the mums!


Delicious 3 course dinner menu:

Starters:

  • Roasted leek soup with vintage cheese and chive crouton.
  • Smashed broad bean bruschetta with whipped goats cheese, toasted sunflower seeds and lemon oil. (Gluten free option available)
  • Warm crab tart with a watercress and apple salad.
  • Chicken liver parfait, roasted plum compote and brioche toast. (Gluten free option available)

Mains:

  • Choose from one of our locally sourced meats: 28 day mature rump of beef, lamb or pork loin. Served with duck fat potatoes, roasted root vegetables, sautéed greens, with bacon and hazelnuts and cauliflower cheese.
  • Grilled salmon supreme with lemon roasted new potatoes, kale and a champagne butter sauce.
  • Mushroom, celeriac and hazelnut wellington. (vegan) 

Dessert:

  • Yorkshire rhubarb crumble with creme anglaise.
  • Earl grey pannacotta with malt shortbread and toffee banana.
  • Passion fruit tart with lemon meringue ripple cream.
